claim your career bliss: interview with Chief Penguin Michael Katz

“You have to be willing to accept a pretty big element of ‘we don’t know how this story is going to turn out.’ And I’m not a risk-taker, maybe it looks like I am, but I’m really not … but I have definitely learned to go with the scary choice. If the less scary choice were better, you wouldn’t have a choice. Why is the scary choice even on the agenda if you really didn’t think that was the answer?

– Michael Katz, Chief Penguin (and likable marketing expert) at “Blue Penguin Development”

Here are a couple of my fave articles from Michael – including one to explain the Springsteen reference at the beginning of the interview – it’s a ‘must read.’ Seriously. No maybe about it:

  1. Thanks Sabrina for this interview and for your authenticity about difficulties with technology (I’ve had my share of boo boos too in that realm). You and Michael are both a breath of fresh air because you are being yourselves. I’ve learned from both of you. Keep up the great work!

  2. Hi Sharon! Thank you for your understanding about the technological difficulties. The message seems to come across in spite of it (thank goodness!). My “business man” signed up to take his one year marketing course. So we’re totally excited to learn from him. I think I’m finally getting used to being in front of the camera, so thanks for the feedback that I come across as myself.
